Delivery & Freight Policy
At Rentco Equipment LTD and Bobcat of the Peace, we aim to provide reliable and timely delivery services for our equipment rentals, parts, and consumables. Please review our delivery and freight policies below:
Delivery with Our Trucks or Third-Party Freight
- Delivery and Pickup Times: Standard delivery is available during regular business hours. They are subject to availability of trucks.
- Equipment Deliveries: We strive to deliver equipment to job sites at the agreed-upon time with our customers. Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery and provide any necessary instructions.
- Third-Party Freight: If our trucks are unavailable, we may use third-party freight services to meet delivery commitments. Additional charges may apply based on the third-party provider’s rates.
- Charges: Delivery fees are calculated based on the weight, size, and destination of the order and availability of trucks.
Small Freight and Consumables Delivery
- Small Freight Boxes: For smaller items and consumables, we utilize reliable small freight carriers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Consumables Freight: Consumable orders may incur separate freight charges based on size and weight. Contact us for detailed shipping rates on consumables.
General Delivery Information
- Receiving Deliveries: A responsible party must be present to receive the delivery. If no one is available, please provide alternate instructions when placing your order.
- Freight Damage: Please inspect your order upon arrival. If any items are damaged or missing, report this to the delivery driver immediately and contact us to resolve the issue.
Sales Items Return Policy
- General Return Guidelines:
- Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date of purchase.
- Condition: Items must be in resale condition and in their original packaging to qualify for a return.
- Receipt: A valid receipt is required for all returns.
- Consumable Products:
- Return Period: Consumable products (e.g., batteries, filters) must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- Condition: Items must be unopened, unfrozen (if applicable) and in their original packaging.
- Serialized Items:
- Return Period: Serialized items (e.g., Tools, machines and equipment) can only be returned within 7 days of purchase, after inspection from a Rentco mechanic.
- Restocking Fee: Returns of serialized items are subject to a 15% restocking fee. This fee covers the administrative costs associated with the return and is due to the warranty being registered with the manufacturer and the ability to resell the item.
- Electrical Parts & Special-Order items and Parts:
- No Refunds: Electrical parts (e.g., circuit boards, wiring) and special-order parts/items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please verify compatibility and specifications before purchasing.
- Refund Method:
- Original Payment Method: Refunds will be issued using the same method as the original payment. For example, if you paid by credit card, the refund will be processed back to that
